- Well, it depends what you mean by 'fade'. If you mean a realtime fade, like
- in bitplane modes, then its difficult.

- But, the way I read Magnus' mail was that it was just a *faded* screen -
- ie it goes darker in one step - rather than fading down gradually.

- I have done a simple 'pause' screen which when you press 'P' or Pause on a
- jaguar controller it fades the screen down to 50% (in one go), and waits
- for you to press it again before accepting any input. Ideally, it would
- also display the PAUSED sprite from the WAD file as well...

- (BTW. I have an idea about a proper fade that would be *much* faster than
- the one by Genie of Network Trash as seen all over the place...)
